Friday, March 12, 2010 - Palo Alto, CA "Teens 4 Christ" TV Appearance
Sara will be interviewed in Palo Alto, CA by the Comcast television show "Teens 4 Christ". Teens 4 Christ airs on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week, so be sure to tune in! For more info, go to:  teens4christministries.org!  This is a really cool ministry!

February 26, 2010 -Antioch, CA - "Biz Kids" Series Taping
Nationally Syndicated Television Show "Biz Kids" came to my house and taped an episode called, "More Bang for Your Buck." We also made a trip to a fabric store! The episode should air sometime this Summer, so be sure to check back on when to tune in!

February 6, 2010 - San Francisco, CA
Sara will her first day of Saturday classes at The San Francisco Academy of Art.
My classes are every Saturday from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m.  It
is a big sacrifice giving up my Saturdays...but I'm learning so
much that I never knew! It is TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Sara will be signing copies of her book at the Barnes and Noble in Antioch, CA. Book signing will take place between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Come meet Sara and take a look at her latest quilt!

10/24-25/09 - 10am-5pm - $7 Admission
Delta Quilt Guild Harvest of Treasures Quilt Show
Sara will be showing quilts, and will be demonstrating How-To Make a Tote Bag on 10/24
from 1:30-2pm. Contra Costa Fairgrounds, 1201 W.10th St., Antioch, CA

September 2009 - San Francisco, CA
Sara marched with Reverend Jesse Jackson in front of the San Francisco Federal Reserve to
protest home foreclosures.

August 2009 - Junior Delta Quilter's Award
Sara received 1st Place Ribbon for Junior Delta Quilters Award for her quilt, "At The Feet of Jesus."

August 2009 - Sara's Nominated by The American Library Association
Sara has just been selected as one of The American Library Association's Ten Admired Teens! Other teens selected include David Archuleta (American Idol), LPGA phenomenon Michelle Wie, and Oscar-Nominated actress Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine). Click here for the article!
